​Why Teachtotop?

There is a huge teacher shortage in the UK and the many teachers coming from overseas come with a different set of skills to that needed in UK schools. So many opportunities are lost and unnecessary struggles abound for those joining the UK teaching workforce from Asian, Caribbean and African countries in particular because the ways of teaching and the expectations are different in these countries. We believe that with the appropriate support and mentoring, the transitions would be easier and more successful. To upskill teachers so that they can take up places in UK schools successfully and with confidence, we set up Teachtotop.
